Can you work on systems another vendor built?
Yes. Most rescues are systems someone else built. We work from the live system and whatever access you have. Where the original vendor used a platform we support, we repair in place. Where they did not, we tell you before recommending a replacement.
What if I cannot access the old system?
Tell us what you do have. Often the accounts are in your name even when the vendor held the passwords, and access can be recovered. If it truly cannot be recovered, the diagnosis says so, and the quote covers a clean rebuild of the same job on accounts you control.
